Sezgin Aksu (Turkey), Designer, studied in Germany and also in France. Silvia Suardi (Italy), Architect, studied in Milan (Politecnico di Milano) and also in Spain. They both worked for about ten years in Michele de Lucchi's studio and have been working together since 2001. They work from their Milan studio on interior design projects (for private houses and public spaces), exhibition design, furniture and graphic design. The differences in their cultural backgrounds and formation is the key for a capacious working enviroment, which influences their work in all its aspects, from the Architectural spaces right through to communications.
Amoungst their principal clients are: Antonangeli, Caimi Brevetti, DePadova, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Koleksiyon, Nemo Cassina, Nurus, Olivetti, Poltrona Frau, Rubinetterie Teorema, Slide, Serafino Zani. Sezgin Aksu also lectures at the Istituto Europeo del Design (IED).
Silvia Suardi works with many international magazines and in 2002, published the book "Michele De Lucchi: Dopotolomeo" (Skira). In 2007, she wrote the book "Marco della Torre. Il progetto per l'arte", (Logos). Silvia also lectures on design and exhibition design in several design and architectural schools. She is External Examiner for the University of Wales, for the Master in Interior and Living design in Domus Academy. They won the Red Dot Design Award in 2007, Design Turkey 2008, Good Design USA 2008 and Design Nominee 2008 for the Utoo system, produced by Nurus (Turkey).
