BOUNDARY HOTEL
Boundary is a Victorian industrial building in Shoreditch that includes a 17-bedroom boutique hotel, a roof garden with bar and grill, fine dining restaurant, cafe and food store.
Conran + Partners demolished the existing mansard and constructed two new floors for duplex bedrooms with double-height living space and bed-deck above, clad in pre-patinated green copper and timber brise soleil.
Boundary is glamorous yet edgy and accessible. Every detail from the restaurant menus, commissioned wallpapers, flyers about the coming grouse season, arrows and amenities have been designed with both passion and a sense of fun.
Each hotel bedroom has an individual twist, with some created by contemporary design figures including Sir David Tang, Priscilla Carluccio, Vicki Conran, Polly Dickens and Terence Conran.
