A project for the common parts and the rooms of the Hotel Eden Roc in Ascona. The concept is characterized by simple but extremely elegant lines which are in harmony with the lake surrounding landscape. The colours used recall the nature. The wall decorative paintings are realized by Sergio Villa. The Venetian stucco (with 15 different working phases) decorates the wall of the headboard bed and the living room, while “stucco encausto” which is an old finish for humid area is used for bathrooms. Pieces of furniture are mainly designed by Carlo Rampazzi and refined by Sergio Villa. Among them, upholstered pieces of furniture, covered with natural leather and finished with natural wax have great success. The bench of the restaurant Brezza is decorated by hand in fake pad with sinuous desk legs, refined with a surprising crocodile effect.
