The project was entrusted to the Italian architectural studio, Baciocchi Associati, who created the concept for all the new La Perla boutiques. This new opening confirms Japan as a strategic area in the retail-chain's consolidation and expansion plan, carried forward by the holding Pacific Global Management, lead by Silvio Scaglia. The Ginza boutique spreads across 200 m2 on two floors.
The inspiration of great Italian architecture is reflected in the five-arch façade covered in golden metallic mesh. The golden mesh theme continues throughout the spaces of the store and is evocative of the weave of tulle, whose intricate threads give birth to the La Perla creations. This element of design creates intriguing light effects and a particularly captivating atmosphere. The interior design reflects the elegant style that characterises the brand also in the refined amethyst shades of the rugs and the velvet panels that cover the walls. The garments are displayed in transparent cases, on gilded metal hangers, in "cage" structures which contain mannequins or presented to customers on velvet-lined trays. A staircase with a crystal balustrade and panels in backlit mesh unite the two floors devoted to the women's and men's lingerie, nightwear, beachwear and ready-to-wear collections and to the accessories that represent the brand's new lifestyle dimension.
