STM at Sicam 2016 with its new product line
STM has always been involved in the furniture components industry with several product lines which confirmed their growing trend both in Italy and abroad. Together with the traditional products such as TM branded hinges, drawer slides and filing systems, this year STM will introduce a brand new line of extractable systems. In the home environment is becoming more and more important to rationally exploit any available space; consequently any solution that brings advantages providing extra surfaces for everyday activities can contribute to improve the overall furniture quality. The new line of extractable systems developed by STM is made of worktops and tables in order to meet the requirement of final users with different needs; many innovative solutions have been developed such as the automatic lifting system for worktops or the device allowing the table leg to overturn, bothof them are STM patents providing more comfort and usability. These results prove that the company has a strong focus on innovation in order to improve the furniture usability. Both product segments include items with different size, weight tolerance and extraction system; however, STM products differentiate for the wide range of optional items available. Customers can choose many different solutions such as drawers for cutlery that could be applied under the worktop to fully exploit the additional space; moreover, STM devices can be adapted to single, bi-folding and multi-folding worktops: this way it is possible to extract a surface which is much larger than the furniture containing it. Optional items have core importance in this market because the capability of customizingallows these devices to be used in many different situations. STM chose SICAM 2016 to introduce this new line: an important showcase for domestic and international markets.
