Among the products on show for the first time at imm Cologna 2016, are the Aida armchair designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, presented in the version with shell in Saddle leather and internal parts in leather. The seat structure is made of solid beech wood and birch plywood. The seat suspension consists of biconical hand-tied steel springs fastened to a birch plywood base. The backrest shell and the seat padding are in moulded polyurethane foam. Aida is available in a fixed or revolving version allowing it to turn 360° and return automatically to its starting position. The fixed version features a wood base, made of MDF in a black textured finish, or a metal base, with a structure of birch plywood and an external carter cover of shaped sheet brass with gunmetal grey finish. The revolving version base is made of birch plywood. The wood base version features a black textured finish while the metal base version has got an external carter cover of shaped sheet brass with gunmetal grey finish. The upholstery is embellished with a leather, fabric or gros-grain border. Alongside the version with Pelle Frau® leather on the outside and fabric on the inside, the armchair can also be completely upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather with a leather or gros-grain border.
