The company was founded in
1957 in Cologno Monzese in the
province of Milan, by Adriano Fratoni,
father of the present owners.
It originally employed a workforce
of fi ve, and its products were aimed
at furniture and footwear manufacturers
in Lombardy only. In
just a few years it gradually expanded
all over Italy, and later
abroad. In 1963 the company moved
to its present factory in Carugate,
east of Milan, and the workforce
increased to some 40 employees.
FRABO is now considered
a leading manufacturer of solvent-
and water-based contact
adesive.
Its careful choice of top-grade raw
materials, processing methods
and strict quality controls at all
stages of the manufacturing process
constitute the best guarantee
of good, constant quality of the
end products. As part of its quality
policy, FRABO has obtained ISO
