ALVARO SANS ARQUITECTURA HOTELERA
Alvaro Sans Cañada (Spain, Bilbao 1956), belongs to a family with a technocratic tradition, five generations of civic engineers and architects. He studied aschitecture at the Barcelona Higher Technical School for Architecture.
From 1985 to 1987 he was the director of projects for the Meliá group, co-operating with many international architects.
In 1988 he founded “Alvaro Sans Arquitectura Hotelera” ( ASAH ). He has worked in 20 countries on four continents designing emblematic hotels that have become showcases for different countries, accumulating a great level of experience from over 100 important and successful projects.
