DAVIDE VERCELLI

Born in 1966 in Varallo (VC), graduated in engineering, he starts projecting after an
activity of research at the Turin Polytechnic University.
Ever since fond of project culture, of the ways how technological conception and
production, communication and marketing strategies interfere in the making and
the presentation of a product, he developed through the years a consistent series
of co-operation jobs with companies of different production fields: lighting, home
fittings, radiators, coverings and bathrooms.
From 1999 until 2007 he develops in Ritmonio the concept itself of the company
becoming its creating soul.
In 2010 he forms the new furniture brand Liberostile (www.liberostile.it), and the
design studio DueAunoI with architects Frigerio and Fumagalli.
Numerous are the teaching experiences in co-operation with different institutes
and universities such as the Faculty of Design at the Milan Polytechnic University,
where he was lecturer during the academic year 2001-02.
He boasts various international awards: five selections for Adi Design Index, two at
Compasso d’Oro, two awards at Young and Design, Design Plus, one first prise at
the International Design Awards and one Good Design Award.
He is member of the Permanent Territorial Observatory on Design and of the
Thematic Committee for Adi Design Index and Compasso D'oro. (www.adidesign.org).
