OMA - OFFICE FOR METROPOLITAN ARCHITECTURE
The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) is an international practice operating within the traditional boundaries of architecture and urbanism, founded in 1975 by Rem Koolhaas and Elia Zenghelis, along with Madelon Vriesendorp and Zoe Zenghelis. 
Today the practice is led by nine partners - Rem Koolhaas, Ellen van Loon, Reinier de Graaf, Shohei Shigematsu, Iyad Alsaka, David Gianotten, Chris van Duijn, Ippolito Pestellini Laparelli, Jason Long - and maintains offices in Rotterdam, New York, Beijing, Hong Kong, Doha and Dubai.  
OMA has won several international awards including the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2000, the RIBA Gold Medal in 2004, the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2005 and the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 2010 Venice Biennale.
