The Hickson Design Partnership is a London, UK & Turin, Italy Architecture and Interior Design practice specialising in Hospitality and High End Residential Projects. THDP was established in 2004 by Nicholas Hickson and Manuela Mannino. The studio has brought together some of Britain’s & Italy’s diverse design talents to serve the most prestigious International clients. THDP was created when Nicholas Hickson & Manuela Mannino were commissioned in 2004 to undertake the interior design for Pragelato Village Resort and Spa in Italy. The resort is the only Five Star resort of its kind in the Italian Alps with its own Alpine Spa. The resort opened for the February 2006 Turin Winter Olympics and was granted ‘leading hotel of the world’ status - it is currently managed by Club Med. Since then THDP have gone on to design 13 other hotels, resorts and residential interiors for leading hospitality brands and private owners & investors, including Hilton Worldwide, Intercontinental IHG, Gruppo Marcegaglia, 21 Investments (Benetton). THDP are a multidisciplinary company, equally comfortable engaging in the planning, consulting, development and execution of both Interior and Architectural projects. By providing customized solutions for clients favouring a progressive approach, the company is not narrowly focused but aims to be flexible, able to react to changing markets and the very different demands of our diverse client base. Our approach integral to our core business, it is one that tries to eliminate the boundaries between Architects, Designers and Artists, offering a diverse range of services to clients in major hospitality businesses, developers and private clients. Our aim is to develop a creative partnership between the client and the design consultants, our goal is to deliver exceptional Hotels. Our Interior & Architectural Design Team work hand in hand throughout the design and construction of the project, bringing a diversity of experience to each Hotel or Resort. New projects are undertaken from a fresh creative perspective and originality that is combined with an exceptional technical expertise, delivering an extraordinary interior & Hotel THDP is responsible for ethical selection of suppliers and materials and direct involvement in the quality and value engineering of the project through its life.
