GIULIVO HOTEL&VILLAGE

City: CASERTA

|

Year: 2015

|

Status: Completed

The project consists in renovating a four stars hotel realized during the 1970s and situated in Baia Domizia, one of the most popular Campania’s tourist destination; it has concerned all the aspects and it is part of a bigger redevelopment plan of the whole Giulivo Hotel & Village complex. The design philosophy was not to denaturalize the building’s features, but to improve it through technological and design solutions, in order to satisfy the customers’ needs for comfort and relax. Rooms’ structure and dimensions haven’t undergone any changes; the project has mainly concerned the walls coating: testing different colours and textures each space has become unique and exclusive.
The building is made by 95 standard rooms (double and triple), 10 suites and a wellness room; they are furnished with a modern style and automation systems. On the ground floor there is a reception, a restaurant with a breakfast room for the customers, a restaurant for public events, a bar, a relax area and common areas. The furnitures have a linear concept; they have been designed with innovative materials and realized by local artisans. The reception’s elements have been realized with Alpi’s Radiant panels, winner of the “Best of the Best” Interzum Award: Intelligent Material & Design; they are made by a particular type of wood that, crossing by a transparent plastic resin, lets the light passes, producing different effects during the day. Each space has been designed in order to obtain a close relation between the external environment that surrounds the hotel.
