The project of the interior architecture of Hotel Ifen has to be viewed within the overall restoration of the existing hotel that brought to the addition of a new wing, designed by Hermann Kauffman following the criteria of bio architecture.
Surrounded by mountains and placed in the core of a valley, this five-star hotel is the perfect place to enjoy the nature together with all the facilities offered by an elegant luxury resort.
The layout was totally redesigned thanks to the complete opening of the space and now the reception, the library and the lounge bar follow one another creating a 24H alive environment: the open space ends with two restaurants, a coffee shop and a restaurant a la carte, the only environment of the ground floor bordered by wooden walls.
The interior design makes extensive use of the palette of neutrals highlighted by reds. Modern colors, a careful lighting design and a contemporary use of local materials as wood and stone are the key elements of the project.
Provided with 140 Guest Rooms and Suites, the hotel has a luxury SPA & Wellness Center of 2.300 square meters and a small Meeting Center.
