Interna for the Radisson Blu Hotel Nairobi

Located in a prime position in the heart of Nairobi business district, stands on top of the hill, almost dominating the plain, the brand new Radisson Blu Hotel Upper Hill, a magnificent hotel that at first glance shows a contemporary elegance and its calling for an heterogeneous mix of patrons. The ID project is the work of the Swedish studio Christian Lundwall from Stockholm, that gave the spaces a refined European flavour skilfully mixed with touches of local influences. The use of particular colours, of African tradition artwork, of characteristic coating materials, offers a hi-tech and global luxury but with the local comfort and taste. The complete fit out of the whole structure was entrusted to Interna Contract that in less than a year and following an exclusive design, has implemented all fixtures and furniture for the interior and exterior areas of the hotel, providing also doors, lamps, curtains, rugs and artwork, while also implementing essentially civil works such as laying of floors, construction of non-structural walls and ceilings, installation of wood panelling and wallpapers, tiling, paintworks etc. In detail Interna completed: public areas at ground floor (lobby, lounges, indoor & outdoor bar, restaurants, terrace ballroom, pool areas); public areas at first floor (meeting rooms, business centre, terrace); guest room floors (rooms, corridors, lift areas, lobby, atrium); 271 guest rooms and suites; 8th floor executive lounge. The Radisson Blu Nairobi is the tenth project implemented turnkey by Interna for the hotel chain and bears witness to the solidity of the twenty-year relationship between Radisson and Interna.
